Outdoor commemorative mural — silhouette figures, hand-typed tribute, brushed-tear edge over a building façade.
A commemorative mural for the ANZAC centenary — silhouettes of two soldiers walking forward, a hand-drawn poppy bleeding off the right edge, hand-set typewriter typography, and a brushed-tear edge that lets the underlying wall colour show through.
The brief was to honour, not advertise. The execution had to survive four seasons of Waikato weather and not look out of place on a working main street.
Designed in-house, plotted on heavy-grade outdoor vinyl, fitted in panels with hand-finished edges to keep the brushed-tear texture honest. The poppy stem cuts across the wall break — a small detail that takes the piece from "sticker on a wall" to "mural on a building".
This is the kind of work that makes a sign shop a part of the town, not just a service to it.

Lest we forget — and the work that says so should look like it means it.Project notes / Alexandra Images
